Questions on GWX 2.0 carrier air cover

Hi there,

I know this has been discussed before, but I can't remember what the results were. I'm reasonable sure that making planes take off and land on carriers is not possible but wanted to know if carriers and escort carriers can and will spawn aircraft in GWX.

You are correct that Aicraft are not be animated to take off and land from carriers in either sh3 or sh4.
But yes carriers do spawn aircraft (swordfish and Avengers) they always have done even since Sh3 stock!

Oh ... they really spawn Avengers? That's really not good news for me. Guess they're more dangerous than I gave them credit for

So when I sink a carrier inside a convoy in mid atlantic, the probability of air cover for that convoy drops. Right?
