Inconsistent Sound Officer
Sometimes my sound officer (on the surface) finds contacts from way out (10nm)--and other times he can't hear a destroyer 500 yards off the bow (on the surface). I know I have three different shifts--so three different SO's--is it possible one of them is just really bad at his job? Or is this a "known bug"?
Thanks for any replies :p |

It is possible he just sucks. Put your mouse cursor over the lead sonar man and see the numbers...something like 44/100, etc. The closer to 100 the better he is. Also, as more patrols are added the more proficient the men get.

Is there a way for the sound officer to chill in friendly waters?
