Default [REQ] Deck Gun fix

No... nothing to do with the rate of fire but has anyone tried aiming this thing manually. Horizontal adjustments are fine but elevation with the mouse is frustrating. You literally have to travel the length of your mouse mat several times to increase range by a single increment.

I know you can use the keyboard cursor keys and elevation is much faster then but horizontal with the cursor keys is similarly frustrating as it adjusts to fast or in steps so as terrible for fine aiming.

It's actually easier to NOT use the scope -the mouse aiming is fluid in all directions then...

Is it possible to increase the Y axis senstivity when looking through the scope? :hmm:

You can easily get huge elevations fast by first raising the barrel to approximately the right elevation while in the "just the crosshair"-view, and then switcing to the sight view to do fine-adjustments. No more scrolling for two minutes to get the desired range

You can change elevations when looking through the site faster by holding down the shift key while changing the elevation with the cursor key. Consider horizontal movement with the cursor a coarse adjust and the mouse a fine adjust.

Is that a 'no' then?

I'll live with it... as the game nears perfection you're left with just the minor things to gripe about.

Have you tried using the mouse wheel? That seems to make more rapid range adjustments on my rig - might be worth a try.

Good luck!
