Default don't know if it's me or not, but...

hi hunters

just been looking at some malfunction/sabotague posts. and i dont know whether or not i've got some.
i do have malfunctions - not sabotague - enabled but i'm thinking this does'nt make sense, here goes:

1. when im surfaced, watching a merchant go down, i call for ahead full and all i get is about 1 - 2 kts. if i call alarm, sometimes it works other times not - in terms of speed. if i call for return to course it goes through the actions but no speed, just 1-2 kts, or nothing...? all my crew are in place and i dont get the " not enough crew in the ..." so i assume the crew are fit enough...? ( hope you understand all this !! )

2. also, i call for flak gunner and there he is at his post. but then when i go to the post myself to use it, i cant use the flak, there is no one there. so i go back to bridge and turn to see the flak gunner in place, but i cant use the flak gun...???

do any of you chaps have an idea whats happening - some programme conflict perhaps, or am i going a bit stoopid about something and nothing.

any ideas
cheers

I believe this is one of the malfunctions that SH3 Commander randomly generates. I've encountered a similar one myself: ordering Ahead Flank on the surface resulted in a speed of just 1 or 2 knots. However, Ahead Full worked okay. Another time, ordering 2 knots when submerged caused the boat to speed up to 4-5 knots (which is not good when you are trying to avoid detection).

This seems to be a bug in the program rather than a "malfunction." Its happened to me, and has been mentioned by others.

thanks Jay

support most welcome.
it good to know others have experienced these things too.
i was being shot at on the surface and my flak gunner may of well just picked his nose, aswell as ordering crash dive; i think they were all watching television or something down below.
yes i agree, ahead full has been active.

i'm wondering if there is a way of fixing the bug.

i'm trying to get down to Gibralta for a patrol and refuel....gonna be fun !!

cheers
