Default SCX team

Who were the members of the SCX team and how do I contact them?

I take it you've had no joy with their improved website and forums?

Xabbarus, Thomasew and Ramius are the three that come to mind regarding SCX, I think Mcarm was also involved at some point, as well as Madcow. It's been a while now, but damn...SCX is a great mod!

SCX and PA: The original supermods. Ah, those were the days.

Those were the days, eagerly awaiting Xabba or Ramius's next model, the jokes directed at Stewie over the Collins class (Fearless, and Feriocious, and going down fast! ) Then there was the bump for SCXII thread, the original grandfather of the Dead Cat. It was great to have Cold War era submarines to hunt, it added a whole new dimension to SC and made for a greater width of missions.

Perhaps there may be some other forum members who would like to have a go if the original team are not available.

If there's any way I can help, let me know, I'm no programmer, but I'm certainly okay with Photoshop (being an Adobe Certified Expert on it), and I can produce 3D models reasonably okay, as evidenced by some screenies in the flight sim forum. Although if you want me to get into flame wars with other modders, as seems to be the trend these days, you'll have to look elsewhere:rotfl:

You bet.

SCX made what was a good nuke sim into a fantastic one. Who can forget all those countless brilliant missions designed by Bill Nichols and others. What a fantastic community we had with SC. Some of the SCX members such as Thomasew just seemed to have fell off the map. SCX was a great realism and eye candy mod. I almost forgot about the utility added into SCX that would allow you to drive a wide range of subs. They were truly great days. SCXI, SCXII, and SCXIIc.

This is why I think it would be a good time to resurrect the SCX project.I am sure that we could build a lot more into the game and so many new missions could be produced.

Stuff that was not released eh? I got just the ticket! Give me a couple days and I'll slap together a zip for the 688 Flight 1/Permit/Sturgion/(Walrus?) fire control screens and post them.
