Default What do you guys and gals think of this?

Perhaps a taste of things to come. Sure looks German to me not to mention the British flag on the merchant. :hmm:

You decide!

I think, to para-quote Neo from the Matrix...

"retreat from your shipping lanes, the party is over... U-boats are coming to SH4 in the new patch."

Yes, the silouette of that boat is very good evidence. Also, the last time I checked, US subs did not sink British vessels!!!!! Not to mention, the post is created by the development team. Looks like hard evidence to me folks

Tis simple to do anyway
1 - sink the Br merc as a US sub
2 - whack a US sub in the Jp roster then sink the Br merc in a single miss

:rotfl: :rotfl:

Lost count of the many times I have played as a British IXB to check stuff out

May well indicate the uboats are indeed coming
Cant get past that interface though

Meh

Ah, but it does beg the question.......Why would a developer be playing a uboat in SH4? Does he not have enough to do?:hmm:

Well, as I mentioned elsewhere, (can't remember the thread) its just a matter of time before you can choose which theater to sail in while using the SH4 engine.

It isn't a ten minute job... but it is certainly do-able.

AVG... I'm even more intrigued by the "World tour in a GATO" thread.

Screenshots of Kiel sub pens, St.Nazaire, Wilhelmshaven, Scapa Flow, all in the SH4 engine.

I'm still waiting for an answer as to where that is from.

Well as you are playing SH4 thought you might have known
The devs left the ports they added to SH3 in SH4

As well as other ones - on land as no Kiel canal :rotfl:

Still couldnt get Penang right though second time around

Campaign_LOC in Data\Campaigns\Campaign
The SH3 ports\cities are first on the list then the SH4 additions

The original poster implies it's in his stock game, without needing to activate anything thru the mission editor.

He has the German version. I have the US dvd retail. I see you're in England, you think you have the same version as he?

I just got home and saw all this, I'm going to have a look in my Editor.

Thanks.

I see no reason why one would differ that much from another

Have just been to Wilhelmshaven in SH4
Pics in that world tour thread

Check the mission ed loading up the Campaign_LOC
