Having toured U534 intact, I think it's a shame that such an experience will be no more, as it was a fascinating experience, and I must admit I signed the petition to keep her in one piece. But in preference to the scrapyard, it's not so bad. Incidentally, she features in my story that was a runner up in the Submarine Almanac story competition, so you can at least read aboutr her 'in one piece from me'.
