Default Not so long ago

Not so long ago? Most of you recognize that sentence(I presume) But what definition of time, does the devteam of GWX have?

The war startet about 68 year ago and ended about 63 years ago and that's a loooong time ago

Seriously dude, this is the second thread of yours in which I have absolutley no clue what you're on about.

Surely you're not rushing the GWX team?

Ohh! My thread was not to criticize or to rush the dewteam. It was just a thought this "Not so long ago" sorry that I wasn't clear about that.

Well concidering how long known history is, six decades is a short time indeed. Allso the aftershocks of WW2 have not yet completely disapated and are still fresh in some peoples minds.

Who's to say? Some things I think about that happened in my life 40 years ago seem "not so long ago", other things that happened last month seem ages ago when I pause to think about them (I know it's been a freakin' long time since I cleaned behind the fridge or stove :p ).

To paraphrase Einstein, "time is relative". Of course, in this context, it's merely "realtive" to how old you are and your mood-of-the-moment.

Your profile says you are 42 and you feel WW2 was long time ago.
Maybe the fact Sweden hasnt been in a war for almost 200 years has something to do with this..:hmm:
In Finland people still speak of the war in 1917-1918 like it wasnt long time ago..
