GWX Freezing Problem

Hey everyone, I'm a new Silent Hunter 3 fan, and picked up the GWX a few days ago. I went to start a campaign today and it loaded 3/4 of the way than froze. I restarted and tried two more times but no look. I have the same problem with the museum as well, it loads 3/4 of the way than freezes. The naval academy works fine, and I've yet to try single mission as I am not home right now, but has anyone else encountered this problem and more importantly is there a solution?

Due to the sheer mass of coolness in every GWX megabyte... it can take quite a bit longer than stock to load.

From the stock SHIII, it loads the first 3/4 fast and then stops to load the last 1/4. And as Penny said, GWX has created so much new that the last 1/4 will take abit longer to load.

Lol sheer awesomeness does tend to do that, I'm gonna grab some dinner and leave it on to load just to make sure thats the case. Hopefully it's the same for the museum!

The first time you load is the worst as the game creates the SH3 folder in my documents then

Also, what would help alot would be if you posted your system specs.

Ah any future problems I'll make sure to throw in my specs. Right about the first time being the longest, my entire game stuttered, but after loading it again it ran nice and smooth. Thanks guys!
