Sorry to ask, as I can't find anything in the book and there was nothing in the tips section of the forum.
1 How do you know which crew are injured? Is it when they are shaded in pink (it may be red, but I'm colourblind!) 2 Is it clear hwne crew are dead (other than the fact they start to look like zombies and smell bad) 3 Is there a way to heal the injured and is there a medical qualification? Thanks |

When there pink there wounded. Click the crew member in question an look at his stats an see what his health is. Depending on there wound some my heal but other may not until you reach port. I found a wounded crew will not function at his rated level. Example: Having a wounded loaded ( Deck Gun ) an your reloads will slow down...

I remember in the game B-17 flying fortress each crew member had there 'faces' change to indicate their moral/health.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It was kinda cool. Hell yea they can die.. problem is they tend to stay on the boat. No burials at sea available. |

1) Aye, when their injured, its a pinkish colour..
2) As far as I can tell, it's only when you check their health points, (Fortunatly, I've never lost a crew member [Except when first checking depth and lost control of boat]) 3) I assume that they automatically heal after an amount of time, however I think after their below 50 health points, you have to return to port to heal them With Regards, Krauter

Crew members seem to die less for indirect hits (damage to your sub) than getting hit with a bullet on the deck crew. You can heal a crew member quicker by forcing him to sleep in a non-active crew shift. The dedicated repair crew slots are good places to put injured crew because they don't automatically get set to active every 12 hours. The more rest they get, the faster they heal. Going General Quarters with badly injured crew in the 3 shift rotations will probably kill them eventually when they might otherwise recover. You can tell when in injured crew is recovering when their "health" stat improves toward 100% A crew who's "Fatique" improves (goes down) while injured will probably recover fully.
