Folks,
I`m going to do a serious Hardware upgrade very soon (Core 2 Duo 6750, 8800GTS 640 MB, 2 GB RAM) including a new HD. OF course I want to save my running career, to play it on on the new machine. Do I have to save anything more than the savegames? GWX + SH3Cmdr here. TIA Z. |

What to save...
Hi,
last time when I made an update I saved (and restored :-)) a) save games b) a list of all activated mods (from JSGME) c) SH3 Commander puts by default it's files in it's own directory -> save it, not for the function but for the fun d) and if you keep your own kind of Kriegstagebuch (like I do) -> dont't forget to save it :-) Attention: depending on the number of careers and savefiles the size of a) can grow to severeral hundered (!) MBytes. My last saves are each about 0,5 to 1 MByte in size.
