Here are my photos from the U.S.S. Grayling memorial and the U.S.S. Batfish, There is one photo of a plaque that says: "U.S.S. Grayling Submarine sunk here, telephone inside, is the only remaining piece from the Grayling it was a bouy system used during peacetim in case of an accident it would be floated to the top, it was removed during war. Also I have a picture looking from the bridge towards the bow on the Batfish, you can see the 20mm. Enjoy!

Just so you know, pictures of WW2 subs, museums and memorials are never 'off-topic' on the SH3/SH4 pages (at least not in my opinion). ![]()

Works great now! The Grayling part is sad; the Batfish pictures are fantastic! It's to bad she's parked on dry land, but nice to see close-ups of the stern tubes. Interior shots are great as well.

Thanks, those pictures are before I volunteered there, when I volunteered I spent about 5 hours polishing the fore and aft tubes in the Batfish, and now they are gleaming.
