Newbee with some basic Editor questions.
1. Apparently there was a directory in SH3 called documentation which had a manual on how to use the editor. I notice there is none for SH4. Why ?
2. Can designed missions be used in the training area as well as single missions ? 3. How do you get the submarine you selected to show up in the right column for the mission instead of UNKNOWN ? The mission bombs when selected with Unknown as a submarine. 4. The mission editor for SH3 and SH4 is it 100% the same ? Any differences ? In general, some of the missions I have tried that may have been designed in SH3 editor are not working in SH4. I followed the instructions and they will not work because of the unknown submarine. Please help.... Regards Jib01/02 :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: ![]() |

1. No idea.
2. I think so. 3. The "right column" of the mission? You've lost me. You drag a sub (US sub) onto the map, open properties, and click the box that it is human controlled. 4. I don't own SH3, but I think they are mostly the same from what I've read, no major differences. Most differences are in new stuff, not the basics I believe. I've never seen unknown sub, so I don;t know what's going on. tater |

If I have read your post correctly, SH4 files have NO German submarines
installed, only American ones used by the player (no AI) and a few Japanese ones (still with no AI) used for eye candy...... JIM
