video card question - laptop

Hello,
I have a question (hope is not a stupid question but I'm new both to the forum and SHIII game). Silentr hunter III works with in a laptop with a NVIDIA® GeForce® 8400M GT? And with windows vista? I'm going to buy one and I'm wondering if I can play it.

First off welcome aboard. Everyone here will give you some input. Some better than me. Graphics card seems good, but you're better off with windows XP for gaming. Better to let Vista mature a little bit more.......IMHO.......Good luck..........

Welcome.
You can have both xp and vista on the same machine. XP is better for gaming at this time. When you buy it tell them to install both systems.
PC Mag has a recent article on how to do this if you want to do it yourself.

I've only a couple of problems with vista (all of my games work) A. It eats tons of RAM
B. My printer wont understand vista C. User Interface takes a bit of getting used to

BUT apart from that I've no problem with it! Great for music DVDs and other multimedia!
