Can you manually set RPM, speed, and how do you check hull integrity. Have tried to find solutions but to no avail. I promise (sort of) that these are my last queries, for a while at least

In case you use GWX, you have to install the SH3 commander, there's an option to show the hull integrity in the game. Just hit F7 to see the crew screen, it's written above the nose of your u-boat.
If you use vanilla SH3 it's there as well. You can manually set the speed when you click the little button on the lower left side of the speed dial. It will change the display to a knots display where you can click the speed you'd like to have.

The only part not yet answered is the 'rpm'.....you can't, you can only change the speed, but the lower the speed, the lowerr the rpm
