FLETCHER class

Most people have heard of the U.S.'s Fletcher class destroyers they are used in SH3 but in the game where you think you would see them most the Pacific they arn't there SH4 is great but in some casses it is not acurate like there are loads of Yamato battleships but no Fletchers.

As for the Yamato's, stop playing stock, as for fletchers, Dunno what to tell ya. You'll spend more time in japanese waters then anywhere else.

Fletcher is in game.

Honestly, the last thing a US sub wants to see are USN escorts. Even in "safe lanes" US subs were prosecuted by allied aircraft and ASW assets.

Some day that will be a problem in SH4 as well

Great, nothing is more fun then going home after a long and dangerous patrol just to be attacked by an US aircraft because the crew thought you were a JAP cruiser.:p That really happened to an US sub by I can't remember its name.

Makes me wonder weather Submarines carry a large battle ensign which many surface vessels carry . . . or are they to low on the water for that to be an effective symbol of identification?

Examples:

Don't get the wrong idea, but...I think I love you.
