Default Why aren't enemy ports colored in red on the map?

i hate not knowing where the battle lines are.

you get used to em. Once you pass midway, you're in open waters. Convoys don't show up until you get closer to the islands. The only big oceanic convoys I've run into are very rare.

It's possible to mod in, it's just a lot of work. Add 2-3 2d labels for each important island, then have them appear at one date, then disappear at another. Then the next (in another color) comes up and replaces it. When it is liberated, it changes again.

It means 2-3 for each important spot on the map. Not hard to do, but a fair bit of work. Many of the names in game are stuck to ports, too, so you' also need to change those to no label.

It's not a problem for me since I know the dates when most fell, at least in a broad sense.

Default Time to celebrate!

I love the game the way it is but I'd jump at patch 1.4, while I shed a tear for all our overworked modders just catching their breath from 1.3. Forgive me if I grin a bit while I shed that tear.

Cool.

If it's the method I suggested, it's a ton of work for them to do.

If it's coding something new... it's probably MORE work, lol.

Nice.

Wow lots of conjecture going on here...

He could just mean when the enemy starts lobbing shells and bombs at you you are probably 'behind enemy lines'.

But I hope your right :p

That's true. Very very true. I found this out last night. Those shore batteries have a pretty far range.
