Yeah, i read about that one years ago. The USS Seawolf was one of the first US subs i ever heard/read about. Just something about the name i suppose. You know i was disappointed to learn she only had 4 bow tubes, i thought she had 6 forward. IN all the books and stuff ive read, the authors never spent much time on the sub design, only on what it did and accomplished, the seawolf was up on that list. Really a shame how she met her end. As the saying goes... "Friendly fire, isn't." |
