new versions

Which versions would you guys recommend? I'm open to new ideas.. I just have the original one. Where are they supposed to be extracted/put?

SHIII+1.4bPatch+GWX+1.03version+SH3CMDR+ship pack for GWX
When the new GWX version 1.04 becomes available, dl and install.
You can then add and experiment with the hundreds of mods available using JSGME
