I seem to remember way back when during my SH II days that you had the option to run on one diesel only and use the other to recharge your batteries.
Is this implimented in SH3 (or GWX) ? Might seem a daft question as I've been simming with SH3 since it came out...am I missing something obvious? ![]()

No SH3 does not have this feature.

I wish we could though. That would be quite cool.

Yes it does just not the option to choose which one. When your running disels on the surface with less then full batteries the port engine stops turning the prop and recharges the batteries this can be stopped by using the CE's "Standered propultion, Recharging" feature.

Um, unless I'm missing something here, that's how recharging works now and it's automatic. When in recharge mode go free cam and check your props, only one is working while charging.

My apologies. I thought the OP was referring to "complete control" of the engines which is not represented in SH3.
However, you can run one engine at a time (as later stated you cannot select which engine) by switching to recharge mode if your batteries have been used at all. You can also choose to cut recharging short if you wish and resume it later at a time of your choosing. |
