GWX and SH3 Weather Mod

Hi everyone, I was curious to know if the SH3 Weather Mod works with GWX patched to 1.03? I'm really getting tired of bad weather fouling up any attempt I have a making good attacks. While I like quite a bit of realism myself, I was forced to sit outside of Lock Ewe for 8 days....yes 8 days...while rain and driving wind poured endlessly, forcing me to consistantly submerge, surface, submerge, etc. Since when did the UK have a monsoon season?

Thanks to anyone who can answer this....if I had the hair to spare, I believe I would have torn it out by now.....

It works with GWX1.03.
You can use it, to set the weather conditions at the start of a patrol.
But still, the game will start a cycle of approx. 6 days, everytime you load a save-game.
The weather you load, will be there for 6 days...but if you for example save after 2 days, you get another 6 days at new load...so that's 8 days, etc. etc.

At least, that's what I experience.

Maybe it's an idea, to use SH3Weather to pick a very calm sea at start, so that weather-changes are less likely to turn out into extremes.

Welcome to SUBSIM hale4ua

Weather is hell in SH3, I'm not saying that in a bad way, it's part of the experience

Thank you for the welcome, RDP! Most of the time, I deal with the weather as just part of the game experience. But as I put as my opening post, 8 days is too much and too frustrating, esp considering one day(I think day 5 to be exact) I picked up a task force that I had to believe was full of Warships, but I never could see a dang thing because of the weather.

And thank you for the answer, Paajtor, I really appreciate it.

Yes, especially tough when you have the above or a convoy in your sights
