Makassar Stright 2d 40's Lat 117d 30's Longitude Spotted by SS-228 21 Jan 43 No torpedoes left, beware, SHALLOW WATER here. Depth 40 feet. Recommend intercepting the force A little more north into the strieght. At least 26 ships heading North East at high speed. Cannot risk making visual contact because lack of ordinance. Good Hunting.
