US Navy Catch and Release Program ...

The US Navy announced that it has released a senior Al Qaeda terrorist after questioning him extensively for 27
days while being held a prisoner aboard an unamed US Navy aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea.

In a humanitarian gesture the terroist was given $50.00 and a 1962 Ford Fairlane automobile upon being released from custody.

The photo below shows the terroist on his way home just after being
released by the Navy.

Go Navy!

The "unidentified carrier" is very obviously the Enterprise.

Maybe they made there quota for Red Cross donations (seriously). $1.00 a month minimum out of your paycheck per person per unit times however many is a pretty good chunk and usually calls for some form of reward if a quota is met. A car flying off an aircraft carrier would seem about right.
For those that don't know the miliitary supplies a major portion of Red Cross contributions. Not to mention blood.

It's probably the fastest speed that a 1962 Ford Fairlane automobile has ever reached.

Yes they do, which is why I was suprised to find out recently that i am now banned from donating blood by the Red Cross, acting under the rules of the CDC, because I have served as a member of the US military overseas for three consequative months after 1 Jan 1980.

Apparently the CDC considers that i am a risk for being a carrier of Mad Cow disease...

Who says they told them. Maybe they had everyone stand around and block that Captain's view like when VA-25 launched the Toilet Bomb strike against the VC...
