Default Nvidia geforce fx 5200 graphics card

Recently installed SH IV on compaq presario 6027,xp,pentium 4 processor ,1.5 gig of ram then read that SH IV doesn't support my graphics card.
Dumb I know!
my graphics are slow and choppy.
But is there a patch or somthing to help with this problem.
Or do I just have to shell out more money on a new graphics card.
Sh IV actually works better on my laptop than my desktop, but still slow.

I'm suprised you can play it at all! I'm running on an oc'ed FX-60, 2x 7900GTX, 2gb Corsair PC4000 and when stuff starts blowing up it can get a little choppy, with everything maxed at 1600x1200. A new card wouldn't hurt you at all (except your wallet maybe...)

A 6800GT card is a a minimum requirement if you want to have fun playing SH4. A 7600GT is also good for playing SH4.

I'm on a ATi X800 PRO TVD and it works like a charm. Even when I'm watching the fireworks..

However the 5200 has alway's bean a crap card, can't for the life of me figure out why they even bothered the releas of this card.
