It would be nice to have extra subs in the game, I do believe they are trying to put some more in for the final update of GWX.

The biggest problem is the fact that they can't make them dive like playable subs due to codeing issues.

The fact they have already put AI subs in the game on both sides is a big achivement and they deserve praise just for that alone.

The SHIII engine lets you put an AI sub in but only either surfaced or submerged. Unfortunately the starting depth is where it stays until it gets sunk...

If someone wants to put much work into the creation of an additional submarine, that's fine.
But I doubt that it is really necessary as you hardly see one in an actual career play. At least I haven't seen much subs around away from my home port

I be honest, I think there's enough already.

Especially with the very cool XXIII by flakmonkey and the one that you can already sneak peak in GWX 1.04

I've seen several of the "S" class subs in GWX 1.03. Bad little boogers too! Don't let them start shooting their deck gun at you, their good!
Mostly I've seen them with a convoy, specifically down in the CF area in late 1940 and in 41. I'm sure they are every where though!

I've yet to have a torp shot at me, thank goodness!

Not sure if the poll meant that also, but I'd like to see the nearly useless Type IIA replaced by Flakmonkey's Type XXIII beautiful sub as a PLAYABLE player sub Leaving the same interiors of the Type II would be OK, just changing the external model and the performance and allowing the XXI Flotilla to assign you one in 1945
