40mm deckgun on S-class?

While I was verifying some deckgun info for my tech list, I noticed you could mount dual 40mm AA guns in the deckgun slot on the S-class when they become available. I tried it out in game and ended up with this:

Somehow, that just doesn't look right.

I could man it by ordering them to man the deckgun, but I couldn't operate it myself. I'm guessing this is a bug. Maybe I should set them to "aim for waterline" and see if I can find a merchant.
