Default BSD again!

Can anybody comment on this..........
I,ve had some graphics problem, that is,when viewing the interior of my boat everything has a red tint, skin, instruments.uniforms etc, except instrument dials which remain white ! This situation is permanent....regardless of the time of day.The red lights are always switched on and I'm not sure that they can be turned off manually.
I decided to erase everything including registry entries to ensure a clean re-install.
I loaded the original program, udated to v1.4,installed GWX 1.02 and added the Dec 23rd corrections file.
I started a new career and installed my new settings (90% realism),but when i started a mission ......BSD!!
Have I missed something when re-installing ?
Graphics card is ASUS AX850XT 256Mb AGP
AMD 3200 64bit
2Gb pc3200 corsair Mem
Iiyama LCD monitor etc

To see if that has something to do with your PC configuration would need that you test it without any patches or mods at first.
It does seem to have something to do with your game though, doesn't sound like your grahpics card (or it's drivers) are confusing anything as the dials show their normal colour like you said.

Try removing the Dec 23rd corrections
They are already included in the 1.02 patch

1.03 includes the dec 23rd and 1.02

1.04 will include all the above
No need to add any previous patches

Give that a try and see what happens

If all else fails, reinstall this way:

1. Uninstall SH3 via Windows' "Add/Remove programs"
2. Open Windows Explorer and:
- *delete* the folder where you had installed SH3
- *delete* the \My Documents\SH3 folder
3. Reinstall SH3
4. If your SH3 did not come with patch v1.4b already included, install patch v1.4b. Ensure you install the patch that corresponds to your copy of SH3 (Download/DVD/EMEA/US)
5. OPTIONAL: Copy and paste this "clean" install as a backup to avoid the need to follow steps 1-3 if your game becomes corrupt in future
6. Visit the GWX homepage and download into the SAME folder GWX.exe and the five .bin files. While there grab the v1.03 patch
7. Run GWX.exe and follow the installation prompts
8. Run GWX103.exe and follow the installation prompts
9. SH3 COMMANDER USERS: Visit the GWX homepage and download the GWX 1.02+ Cfg files for SH3 Commander and unzip the contents DIRECTLY into your SH3 Commander\Cfg folder.

Thanks guys..........Started again as suggested and re-installed and now everything is good.
I've been playing SH4 for the last couple of months and didn't realise that GWX 1.03 had been released......so that's a bonus.
Thanks again.
