Default Multiple Torp Shots Different Boats..

If I am hunting a convoy and fire a torp at a cargo ship, do I have to stay locked on that ship until impact or can I fire the torp and then fire another at a nearby ship?

As soon as you fire the torp, you can unlock and move to a diff target, since the torps at that time were not laser or cable-guided. :rotfl: :rotfl:
Fire the torp, unlock and find the next target, repeat procedure as many times as you want/can.
When you fire the torp, just make sure the peri is "locked" on the target.
Hope this helps mate...

Your torpedoes are "fire and forget" werpons. The moment you fire them you cannot influence them any more. So as soon as you fire the first one, aim at another ship and keep firing.

You will only need to lock on to get the firing solution. After the torpedo is launched you can do whatever you want As long as you do not show yourself to your target so that it might get ideas of evasive maneuvers it shouldn't matter what you do next.
