does anyone know what this error is and what i need to do to fix it? the game freezes on loading and game must be reinstalled to work again.
menu ID not found: 0x2b060000! using the JSGME i have several mods i am using and on occassion i forget to uninstall them before i make changes manually or sometimes with the tweaker. this has caused a reversal of sorts with enabling and disabling my mods. as an example, i was tweaking the sub guns and had the 3.50, 4.50, and 5.25 guns all modded with new settings. then i installed the mod folder and found i had the 350 gun with the new values but the 450 and 525 were still at stock settings. i disabled the mod and then found the 350 at stock settings and the 450 and 525 had the new values. so i had half a mod in stock folder and half in my mod folder. after i replace my data folder with a clean back up copy of the stock 1.02 game files i get this error message (menu ID not found: 0x2b060000!). i tried just replacing the effected files instead of the whole data folder but that still gives me the error message. what am i missing here because the way i mod i expect to replace the data folder often to fix screwups lol. |

That error refers to something called "Marking Lines" in the Obs Periscope view.
Line [2B I138] in menu_1024_768. Sorry I can't be more specific but if you have been using any pericsope mods it might be worth trying to reinstall them. |

no i havent done anything with scopes but i like captain cox's "better scopes". i think his bearings markings went too large and will wait till i know how to bring the size down a notch or two. the mods being used were different each time i got the error, but the common link was moving or changing files that JSGME had installed at the time i was using the tweaker. it's like if the file was changed, when you then uninstalled the mods later, the stock files had somehow changed. i just don't understand how replacing the entire data folder doesn't fix it. that should be every file that i could have altered in any way so why won't that fix it? EDIT : not sure how i manage to do this three different times, i'm not new at this, but somehow i was corrupting the .exe file by copying files over the top of it when using the tweaker and shuffling files around. i noticed that the .exe file had grown to over 4 times the size it originally should be.
