Fleet Submarine book

Anyone havethe PeriscopeFilm Fleet Submarine book?
Is it worth getting?

I have the B-17 and B-24 flight manuals from them.
They are more like half toned photcopies than reproductions. Whilst the B-24 one is fine the quality of the B-17 one is a little poor.
So I am wondering how the Fleet Submarine one is.

I've got it. The book is good. Some pages could have been better, but it's OK.

However, don't buy the color companion book. That is a waste of money.
If you want to have the drawings in color check here:

That's the same book...But the pictures (especially the big ones) are bigger and more detailed than that crappy companion book.
Copy them and print them out from the website in 11x17 and you're fine.

Thanks, I think I'll go with your advice and get the main book, but not the colour one.

Thanks for the heads up on the Fleet Sub Book, nice addition to the library and thanks for the link to the website with the color photos.
I am always interested in how things work and how things worked back then.
