yeah i recently got a 8800... This game looks amazing with the settings maxed out

I have the same chip and Mobo but my cards are x1900CF and X1900xtx. Do you get the flickering textures when looking at things zoomed in through periscope?

I see you also have sun bloom...

nope, no flickering. just a big @$$3d DD bearing down on me . seems ATi finally got the sun right. first thought it was a mod, but there's nothing related in the MODS folder. not all gfx setting aer enabled, just the good ones :drool:

are you running vista, DX10? and which catalysts..?

:hmm: nope, no more ?s:p

XPSP2, 9c, and Asus driver

Andyman, never noticed any flickering before with the 850XT or now

well, someone on rage3D seems to think sun bloom is hardware, not driver, related in that SM4 isn't enabled in SH4 game code with cards less than a R600 and so, the sun looks like a frisbee
