Your sub is being refitted.....

First time Ive seen this.

After returning to Brisbane late in the war from a rather successfull patrol I was awarded the usual hardware.

To my supprise I was greeted by the splash screen where your usually offered the command of a "new sub" but instead it read "Your sub is being refitted. It is being upgraded to a cut down conning tower".

Pretty cool

Yea I know yall probably already seen this... But I thought it was a nice touch.

Aaaah - I dream of a different con

One that I can actually fit another AA gun to, or even just have a decent field of fire on my existing one!!

The USN really couldn't design like the Kreigsmarine could ... <sigh - dreams of a nice little Uboat to slip into> :p

yeah, i had that happen to my gato. now the AA gun doesn't stick out thru the side. imagine them thinking i might not like that

The cut down tower allows two 'twin' AA guns one fore and one aft and to move a 4 .50 cal deck gun to the bow.

I have not seen this yet. I have gotten new subs but not this refit message. Cool beans!
