Default Crew transfers with SH3C

Greetings Kaleuns

Quick question about losing crew through transfers with SH3 Commander - does this only happen if you reload the game between missions, i.e. when in port? (It does in my experience). Can crew still be transferred if you finish one mission, hand out the medals etc and then jump straight into your next mission?

(If this is the case do people play with a 'house rule' that you should always exit and reload between missions?)

Danke!

SH3C recommends that you exit and reload between every patrol, since every random factor (like crew transfers, realistic career lengths, and I can't think of any others), is only randomised when SH3C launches SH3.
