some R. manual inconsistancies-es-sees-ses.

ppl am i the only one to notice that every r. manual is different from the other? i mean HA HA! i installed manually the r. manual with lengths instead of ships' speeds written in (after mod enabler didn't work - on vista). the game ran a few seconds and hung up. i reinstalled backups. the game runs fine although length is still visible instead of speed as in original. why? isn't there any way to show length in meters instead of feet? also - japanese r. manual v3.1 is completely different from ingame data ... now the mod that's TRUE DIMENTIONS of ships tells the truth, right? i mean whom should i trust here?

thnx

From what I understand the metric readings are correct in the game concerning the TDC. When you start your career in the office to the left is a radio on the shelf. Click on this and then look for game play options. You can change from Imperial to metric here. Other than that, do not analyze the game to much it will only give you a headache.

The ship dimension mod needs to be installed first, then the Recog Manual mod. That should fix it for you. I need to update that readme file in the download.
Also note that the Rmanual mod, as it now exists, will ONLY work correctly with the ship dimension mod.....there's problems if it's used with the original sim files.

Cheers
