Default How to finish a mission (supply drop in Philippines)???

I got a mission - supply drop in Philippines. I got there ...and nothing! I did not get the message to launch the dinghy.
I even went as close as possible to drop point:

Oh. And that was my first mission in my new career

Nood need to, when you get close enough, you will get a message to launch specops, but you need to be at full stop and less than 2kts... Postone till you correct this and launch them by clicking on a upper right button on your screen and you got it.. Make sure to patch your game to 1.2..

lol. I know. It didn't work.
That's why I tried everything...
As last, desperate attempt, I time compressed and it worked after 1 hr (only a few seconds time compressed).
I guess those bastards in dinghy had trouble getting out of the sub (drunk?) :rotfl:

I have to opposite problem... the guys on the rubber boat wont come back into the sub. Is there a button or order to make them come back? They allready went to the shore and back (and made a terrible sound grating against my hull) but they just cant seem to get back on board. They row around in circles bumping against my sub, but no joy. Should I just leave them and carry on?

Aren't you supposed to surface the boat (running on the surface isn't enough) within three miles and come to a complete stop to be able to deploy the supply/commando/spy boat?

Yes, but your speed should not reach over 2 knots....

Hokay, position yourself where the marker is, should get a message window for launching the troops/supplies/agent...

Default Similar Issue - How to finish

I've come across the same issue, in my case, "Patrol East China Sea." Unfortunately, all torpedoes and gun ammo expended. I just wandered around the area but nothing ever happened. Can't say I stuck it out for an hour (real time). Should I just sit still and let the clock run?

Any other suggestions?

Try patroling 48 hours within 45nm radius and if nothing happens, return to base or refit at nearby port marked at your navmap...

If I had no Torpedios left I would return to base. I think there would be nothing worse then having a convoy or task force roll in and not being able to do anything about it but watch.
