what's good for high speed, inside 3000yrds or 5000. sent one fast inside 2000 and the d@mm thing passed ahead of the target prolly by less than 10ft off the bow

I usually do high speed under 1500yds because it can close the distance faster, especially if they know I'm around, they do try to evade torps if they see them. So get as close as you can but not under 400 yds or so unless they're moving away from you because the torp won't have time to arm under that and it'll just bounce off harmlessly.
