Can't use TC past 512 and Where are the Task Forces?
I'm on my first mission and I already can't go past 512 TC without unacceptable framerates. This would normally only happen near the endof my 3rd patrol but now I already can't. I just reinstalled about 3 times and have a few mods. My FPS when at 512 is 10, down from 55 at 256. I have a 3.0 GHz CPU, a Nvidia 7600 GT OC, and 1GB of RAM. Is there any way to fix this? I am planning to get one more gig of RAM, but I don't know when.
Also, where is a good place to find task forces? I haven't had much luck trying to find them.

The ram will help a lot but you will have to turn things down to get better framerate. I have a 7600 GT and play in the 30's.

I find that the game boggs down periodically for no apparant reason. but then speeds back up. But it does appear to happen a little more frequently as the mission goes on. I have 2.19 processor and 2 gigs of RAM and GeForce 7800 with 256 RAM. I don't know if beefing up the RAM is the cure all. Turning off all other programs running in the background might help, like if you have an anti-virus program running all the time. That is one thing I haven't tried, but plan on it tonight.
