Default Yellow Sea Missions Bug

Every time I go to the Yellow sea for a mission , approx ,when I pass the yellow sea text on the nav map the next time 7.00pm comes around the game crashes.
last time it was on 8th may 1943 this time 1st august 1943 same time 7pm. It seems once I enter this area something goes wrong and 7.pm has something to do with it.
could it be something to do with the radio boadcast areas or a message.

Ive exported my mod list using JSGME

Radio Mod Ted Healys radio mod with "cap midnight more" as washington station
360 degree bearing plotter Imperial
Brighter torpedo wakes
GATO REDFIN SS 272
GREEN LOCK AND POSITION BUTTON
Improved Underwater Visibility Stage 2
JP Ship Dimension Fix1.0
USS Thresher SS-200 Tambor
USS-187_Sturgeon Salmon
REL_Trigger_Maru_ver1 without radio folder
Cameras camera.dat file only from Real Fleet Boat
Just More Ammo
TORPEDO +25% more powerful
Guages oaks hud guages
TELEMETER LENS 32 DGR
SILENT SERVICE 1.2c GRAPHICS MOD
HI RES RED FIN BALAO
SMALLER SEA PLANTS SMALL
SMALLER SEABED ROCKS

Ok thats the list in order of activation
Last night I updated to the latest Triger maru so ill give it a go today , Im saved in base just about to leave for the yellow sea again. I have a work around :dock straight away , get new mission and hope its not in yellow sea.

the next day
well the plot thickens,
tried transfer from pearl to brisbane,
got same mission "insert agent in Dalian" yellow sea.
This time I only got to the solomon isl before CTD.

Strange ,

the docking work around still worked. it seems I must have some bug in the yellow sea missions.

before this I had about 6 completed missions all containing from 3 to 6 objestives before running into my first CTD used the docking work around then had another 6 or 7 before comming uo against the yellow sea CTD again.

Im trying a new career incase of some mismatch with the various mods im using.

But im still interested to hear if anybody else has confronted the same issue.

Just a thought...Does the radio play a certain tune or show as this happens? I had that happen with the "Captain Midnight's CBS mod" on a particular newscast.

Well, i know there has been some tunes, both in tedhealy's mods and also in mine that have made the game CTD. That's why i asked if there is a particular one that is playing at the time of the CTD. If so, remove it from the mod and try again.

Good call, radio mods are likely suspects, can't really see it being anything else.

Well the Plot gets even deeper.

I started a new carear thinking ill continue the old one at a later date.
anyway I whent back to try the yellow sea carear to get an exact time and location of the CTD and found it wont load any more.
I havnt changed anything yet.
I get the loading screen , thanks cap cox, i enjoy those interesting reads, and then the "please wait" then bang CTD.

so ill have to wait until i get another yellow sea mission I spose.

Still interested to hear if anyone else has come accross this.

sorry I should have been more specific by saying I wasnt listening I ment I didnt have the radio turned on , not that i wasnt paying attention to what was playing.

Maybe a stupid suggestion, but I experienced the same CTD when the game loaded, saying please wait and then crashes. I reinstalled the whole game again, patched it to 1.2, reapplied all the (same) mods and it worked perfectly. No more CTD's eversince. Ducimus (sniff sniff, I'm really sad he left) sugested this an d it worked for me.Greetings Bando

I was thinking of a re-install , it wouldnt suprise me if that may be the problem.
Ive mucked around with installing , un-installing heaps of mods but Im just worried that at the moment Its working realy well "except for the yellow sea missions" and I might end up worse off.

im saving it as a last resort.

thanks for your input.

If you have room to spare, make a baseline copy of your patched but unmodded install. I always do this and it has saved me countless reinstalls.

Just had a 10 minute unattended refresh that solved a stock startup crash a few minutes ago...
