Default I know what’s wrong with the radar.

I figured out what’s wrong with the radar, and who knows what else.

It is because of Beery and RFB that many of us are having so many problems with SHIV!

What were you thinking?

Way to go champ! Now nothing will ever work the same.

If you don’t believe me, here is the proof!

I was actually going to add Bernard as my little joke, but sadly the devs beat me to it (it's in vanilla SH4). I settled with adding the name 'Beery' to RFB's crew names.

There are a few suspect names in there. Although the first and last names are put together completely at random, it's possible to see Kevin Costner, Charlton Heston, Robert DeNiro, Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, Tom Cruise, even Rob Roy, Spock, James Tiberius Kirk and Luke Skywalker. At least they stopped short of putting Bilbo Baggins and Obi-Wan Kenobi in there.

I haven’t played vanilla much so I hadn’t noticed him before.

I was on patrol doing a little crew mgmt when I found I had a Beery as one of my crew.
I took a screeny and was going to post it with a joke, but after seeing your handle, I though I might find him, so I assumed you had added him.

If the devs did it, it could certainly explain why the game has a mind of its own.:hmm:

I don’t remember reading about this one in the Easter egg forum.

Oh…and your name was Beery U. Digby.

Sound like a porno name….ahem “ladies and gentleman!”, “I present the Dirk Digler of the deep!”

I remember having a Skywalker in my crew once. The Force didn`t help us much, a flying boat made short work out of us.

ROFL!

Now I'm going to spend the next half hour trying to make porno names from the crew names. Come to think of it, Brad Pitt wouldn't need to change his name if he went into the porno business.

Actually, that was one of the easy and fun things you could do in B-17 2, rename your crew in game (no mod required), doing that sort of silly thing is actually where I ended up with the nickname Chock many years ago and is the one I use all the time in games and sims, most of my buddies who play online ended up with equally silly ones.

Just remebering some of my crew names in B-17 makes me laugh:

Lucky Daye, Buck Dreadnought, Curt Reply, Curtis E Carr, Chance Encounter, Ace S Lowe etc, etc, I did an entire B-17 squadron all with stupid names like that.
