Are there any SHIV players out there who are playing for pure fun, not as a serious simulation? Are you interested in sinking as much tonnage as possible?
I had a career that ended in forced retirement where I had over 500000 tonnes sunk. On one recent patrol where I refitted three times before ending the patrol, I sunk over 300000 tonnes before limping back to Pearl in a very sorry state. I'm not here to get involved in a mine's bigger than your's debate, just interested in other tales of massive tonnage. I also believe that SHIV is a challenge even on 0 realism (you can still get the crap beaten out of your sub if the destroyers get you). I know that loads of gamers on this forum are playing for the thrill of 100% realism (fair play to them) and will possibly critisise my playing style but I enjoy playing like this and have put in weeks of gameplay with huge smiles. Comments please. Mudrik. |
