Default Enabling Balken Cross ?

Hi Guys

I know that in some sims the displaying of balken cross or swastikas is disabled to avoid hurting some people. But since this is a simulator based on historical facts i would like to see the correct flag for the german navy, is there a code i have to modify in the config file to enable this ?

Cheers

Welcome aboard, agent 86!

There are several mods that make the change for you, the first one I know of done by Beery, and included in his Real U-Boat supermod. I suspect the other supermods have it as well, and there should still be links to the older mods around. Someone will turn up with it soon, never fear.

Simply delete the following files from your Textures\TLowRes\tex and Textures\THighRes\tex folders:

German.tga
German_m.tga
NBB_BismarkC.tga

The Swastika will be returned to the German warship and merchant flags and to the upper deck of the Bismark.

You do not need any external mod to do this.

If you want Swastikas added to the menu screens and medals, then you'll need to d/l mods to do it.

Hi Fellows

Great it worked fine, it's so much different to see the Bismarck with his real "colors", just adds a lot to the inmersion factor, i wish i knew how to post some pictures .

Cheers

The entire navy welcomes you!

Um, would you believe a destroyer and a submarine?

No? Would you believe two boy scouts in a rowboat?
