MP3 normally, RAR is just a format to pack stuff.

I tried using the Tokyo Zero Hour mods and they will not play. How do I trouble shoot the problem? I extracted the files and put them in the grammophone folder. I tried converting to MP3 with Goldwave and that did not work. thanks! Joe S

If you have windows media player play them through that and 'save as' an mp3 then move the mp3 file into your data>sound>gramaphone folder in SH4. Thats how I did it and they work fine.

No,I am using the grammophone and I tried it again and this time , for whatever reason, I got the files to play. Now all I have to do is figure out a way to increase the volume so I can hear it. Not having much luck with the sound menu under options. I am considering opening the file with Goldwave and increasing the volume of the file there. Any other ideas? Thanks! Joe S

I am using a prog called Audacity (FREEWARE) you can simply remaster it in that very easy!

I can't get the radio to play wav files as "events". It doesn't cause any problem, it just doesn't play them (even when they are designated properly in the text file). Only mp3 and ogg files seem to work.

Is there freeware to transform RealPlayer and wav files into mp3? I dunno, I'm an audio format idiot.
