I think im related to Werner Hartmann?

He was a famous U-Boat commander in WW2. One day when my parents werent home i went to the basement lookiing for a book. I was going through some stuff and i found a box with a couple German words on it, i think it said "Geschickt von Deutschland nach Boston für Familie" I was full of stuff like postcards, pictures, a german bible, just stuff. But i was going through it and i found a letter with the Nazi Eagle standard on the top of the letter. I can read germany and if i take it to my parents they will know i was looking through that stuff.
But the letter has it being sent from some base in Gotenhafen (i dont know where that is?) and its by Werner Hartmann and its to one of my relatives in Ulm, Germany. I typed it up on a translation page and it says that he got promoted and was a commander of a unit at Gotenhafen. And that he will visit Ulm soon.
I think its cool, haha Im trying to find a scanner so i can put it online and at the same time trying to evade my parents like they were DDs haha.
Does anyone know where i can find info on Werner Hartmann?
