Default [REQ] Metric to Imperial conversion

Hi guys, maybe we could get more folks from the US or even Canada (where a few still are stubborn about metric) to play a mature SH3 with the great supermods if we could give them the option of a system they are used to...imperial.

Well in the SH4 forum they all made such a fuss as the game was shipped with metric measurements which werent used till Ubi changed then to imperial which were

SH3 uses metric measurements as thats what the Germans used - not imperial

Not sure if someone will bother to take the time to convert now though at this very late stage in the games life

Sorry bigboywooly, you are too nice a guy to catch my hook so I'm throwing you back. I just read lots of folks play Sh4 with metric which I think is silly...I think it would be silly to play SH3 in imperial as the Germans used metric (well and knots too hmm) just call me a cousin of this guy:

I was hoping to raise a strom of controversy, with my SH3 buddies asking if I've gone nuts leading to locked threads and bans I'm sorry.

I suspected it when I first saw the post, but I also thought that it would end up like it has: No fuss at all. But if you really really are looking for trouble I can give you a warning and lock this thread for...errr....let me see....how about tentative warmongering in first grade? :rotfl:

Conspiracy to flaming... how many days in the brig?

I play SH4 with the Imperial system and SHIII with the metric system (naturally). The Imperial system is harder to use even after having lived for three years in the States, but I consider it just another challenge to master.
