No offence intended, but can a death scene be modded?

Hi.

I hope I don't cause any offence here, but as much as we all seem to play these games, with a suspension of belief and immersion, one area that it doesn't really hook you in is in the fear of 'dying'

In another game I like (Ghost Recon Adv Warfighter) when you get shot, you hear yourself groan, and fall to the ground and see what you would probably see, before the world goes all black.

Last night I was playing and got totally creamed by a destroyer, and lost depth control / flooding.

Whilst my ship sank and damage reports were coming in, of course the inside of the ship didn't fill up with water or have crew screaming or looking terrified, but just as the ship should have imploded, the view swapped to the outside (still not imploding) and then panned up to the surface.

Is it possible / wanted, for you to actually see water flooding in , hear the screams etc.., or a brief flash of the ship imploding, before going all dark and silent for a few secs, before ending the career...

In a way, to me, it would serve as a reminder and a reinforcement of the respect we should have for all submariners, and the danger they face...

Just my $0.02... again I don't want to upset anyone.
