Default Can Someone Help Me Out Here?? Desperate.

I've had a strange issue lately. My time compression does not drop at all when friendly vessels are sighted.

I have no idea how this happened but I need someone to copy and paste their My Documents\SH4\data\cfg\main.cfg file contents here for me. The 'FriendlyDetected' or whatever is totally missing and I'm gonna end up ramming a friendly in TC by accident sometime. I can't remember what it's called exactly and I need to put it back in there.

Thank you!

(Perhaps this is the reason a few people are gettin' blowed up in TC sometimes? I swear, the config entry for it just disappeared.)

Ah well.. I'll just go on playing kamikaze skipper until someone pops on and gives me the specific name for the variable.. FriendlyDetected=8? AlliedDetected=8?

I don't wanna reinstall all this stuff just for that.

It was changed in the 1.2 patch I noticed this as well.

To me it was a welcome change. But still you might ram into the random ship now and then.

Ah.. thanks SteamWake.

I didn't start panicking until I turned off map contact updates I guess.

I learned very quickly after 1.2 not run time compression too high as I put my boat upon the beach trying to get a refit out of the Solomons:rotfl:

Weird.. I still saw the land proximity TC change in the file. Did it not work for you or did you change it?
