Quick Torp Question

Hey guys I'm new here and I've been reading the forums for a few days now and I decided to join up as I'm realling enjoying the game and this site has helped me a lot.

The 2 main problems I am having at the moment though.

Sometimes when I fire torpedos from a perfect 90 degree angle the torps are pushed under the boat by maybe the current? and the continue on.
And...For some reason a lot of my torpedos go too low normally, even if I put it at minimum depth in the TDC.
