On my way to my assigned patrol zone AM18 in U-122. Data Sept 19, 1939. About 150 km southeast of Scappa, and got a contact, slow-moving merchant. Approached to visual range (it was about 09:30,) and identified it as a Canadian freighter.
OK, we'll leave it alone and continue to our patrol area. Resumed course and went to TC of 128. Had proceeded about 100 km and noticed that the map reflected a neutral ship sunk at my last location. Looked at my weapon stores and was short two torpedos. Looked at my log and found an entry for one medium freighter! BERNAAARD!!!! This is going on your permanent record.

Maybe your crew likes to play games, like Hide and Seek. They hid two torpedo's, and I guess it seeked it's way into a freighter. Congratulations! You found it! Cookie for you.
