Default Interesting read...

Sort of indirectly pertains to uboats:

What happens to the men when a sub is crushed?

There are a lot of horrible ways to die in any arena of war.

One thing I always think about when I watch Das Boot is what it would have been like if they hadn't have been able to surface from the bottom at Gibraltar.

I'd take an implosion or drowning over that I reckon.

The thought of it gives me the creeps.

really, the ones that survived those accidents really must have a unpleasant memory of it for the rest of their lives.

Thanks for the link Ducimus!

Interesting, indeed! Feel sorry for those being trapped in a submarine several 100 feet underwater.
