Ctrl + F11 Stored in C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\GWXv103 (or SH3 if that's the version your playing) The first line how to take a shot and the second where it's stored. Today's perhaps stupid question is: I'm using GWX1.03 so why haven't I got a GWXv103 folder where Jim says it should be? I have the SHIII folder but there ain't no screenshots there. |

If you're using the 1280x1024 resolution fix you can use 'printscreen' to take a screenshot and select where you'd like it to be stored using the d3d9.config file.

I have ran GWX for some time now, and I do not have a C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\GWXv103 folder.
It stays as C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII and that is where my screenshots all appear. Maybe...make sure you have options set in explorer, (if thats how you are accessing the folders), ie ...uncheck the option to hide extentions for known file types. For instance, (I just happen to have my game at the ubisoft server screen) took a screenshot, and it shows in the main folder as SH3Img@2-5-2007_10.46.28_161.bmp |

Thanks guys.
Ottensen, I get it. I am using the d3d9 and have seen the line where you set path. Will try it now. Don, I tried again in my SH3 folder with hidden files on but no joy. Good to know I'm not missing a folder or that GWX isn't really installed I just have some fancy loading screens ![]() EDIT: Okay I now ahve several tga files saved using the d3d9 method. I can open them using say Firefox but I guess I need to convert them to jpeg for adding to the likes of photobucket? Any suggestions for a free converter? I don't have Photoshop or anything like that... Last edited by Vacillator; 05-02-07 at 11:44 AM. |

Thanks Don will do.
In the mean time this was using GIMP as a test: ![]() Hmmm, not bad - hope it doesn't violate any rules (of the site not of engagement that is). |
